‘Oftentimes when designing a collection, there’s a tendency to try and add a lot of bells and whistles,’ Nate told Homes & Gardens. ‘What was really fun for Jeremiah and I, because this is really representative of where we are at right now, is we wanted to make it clean, simple and straightforward,’ The collection epitomizes minimalistic living and celebrates natural design. Each item in the 42-piece collection has been designed to layer with existing home decor ideas, with a prominent focus on the living room, dining room and bedroom. One standout piece is the Marion sectional ($2,695, above), a fully customizable chaise that can be tailored to living areas of any size. ‘It [the Marion sectional] is so rectilinear, so clean, so modern,’ says Nate. ‘It is probably the thing we are most excited about because it is impossible to find something of this quality with such clean lines at this price point.’ On the whole, the range blends early American Mid-Century design with European influence. The complicated thing with designing new collections is finding a way where people can walk in and see the pieces and easily envision how to blend them seamlessly into the space they are already living in and that is always our top goal,’ he explains. ‘This collection is the easiest [of all five Nate + Jeremiah collections] to absorb into your homes which makes me happy.’ One thing that remains important to both Living Spaces and the designers is that the range blends upscale design with accessible price points.
