Bought a few months ago, the property is not only one of the world’s best homes, but marks a significant upgrade from the eccentric star’s previous Echo Park home with Lizzo proudly posting images of herself posing in her new bedroom on her Instagram (opens in new tab) a few weeks ago.  Here, we take a look at the spectacular property.  Hidden away in a discrete gated community in the mountains of Beverly Hills, the land was owned by her friend Harry Styles between 2014 and 2016. In the period between his own and Lizzo’s recent purchase, however, the property was demolished by husband-and-wife team SIMO design (opens in new tab) with a modern oak mansion built in its place. The new build is designed to resemble a tree house, with the property affectionately dubbed ‘Oak Pass’ by its architects.  A photo posted by on A masterclass in decorating with neutrals, the property now boasts three bedrooms  and three bathrooms spread across a luxurious 5,300 square feet. The home follows a similar design scheme throughout with a focus on sleek Japandi influenced design. A pivoting front door unveils a double-height foyer complete with an ensconced open-air atrium with a fig tree. From there, the large space allows natural light to filter throughout the home.  The stunning kitchen combines striking quartzite stone with oil-rubbed walnut cabinetry – continuing the home’s theme of natural woods and materials. Other organic materials include a bookcase hewn from ceramic brick and sweeping Ipe wood balconies.  The 1,000-square-foot master bedroom suite is conveniently connected to a spa-inspired master bath, divided by an immense floor-to-ceiling marble slab wall. Other luxury features include a ‘floating’ soapstone fireplace, a concrete soaking tub, and a wood-panelled walk-in closet with glass-topped islands.  The artist has not been shy about showing off her new abode either, with the star regularly giving her fans glimpses into the home’s numerous amenities like her soundproof movie theatre cave, 58-foot infinity pool with canyon views, and multiple outside deck ideas and terraces.  The pool idea itself is nothing short of astonishing either, with the long pool flowing directly beneath the ‘floating’ master bedroom all the way to the edge of the cliff.
