Home accessories, such as cushions, books, and candles, say a lot about a person – and Catherine’s choice of candles is no exception. It is perhaps unsurprising that the future queen consort has one of the best candles on the market – but this candle is likely to hold a special meaning to the Princess – beyond her home’s four walls.  Catherine’s signature scent is Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom (opens in new tab) – a scented candle that, Vogue reports, was burned in Westminster Abbey – underneath the maple trees that were brought in for the occasion.  Kate Middleton’s ‘signature scent’, Orange Blossom, is described by Jo Malone as a ‘pure delight’. The scent resembles a clementine flower and orange blossom and water lily with hints of orris and balsamic vetiver. The scent is designed to help you both uplift, wind down, or simply to add a hint of luxury to your space.  The unisex scent was created by Jean Claude Delville in 2003 after an inspiring trip at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles (according to Fragrantica (opens in new tab)). It has since gone on to be one of the label’s top-selling candles (and one of their best reed diffusers for those who prefer that option).  The Princess’ admiration for this scent is evident. So we wouldn’t be surprised if this candle (and the same scented hand washes and lotions) were a firm staple in her current royal residence, Adelaide Cottage. Infuse your home with the same scent as the candle, only in a diffuser form. This is a great option if you have young children or you simply prefer the look of a diffuser in your home.
