It is no surprise Walton Goggins chose to reside in this star-studded district, with a career in acting that dates back to the early 90s. He first gained global attention after playing Detective Shane Vendrell in The Shield before landing roles in Shanghai Noon and The Bourne Identity. He also notably won an Academy Award as one of the producers of the famous short film The Accountant. The West-Coastal sun has glazed this property in sunlight since 1927 when it was built by Harold O. Sexsmith, a local designer who regularly featured in the Los Angeles Times.  The listing is, therefore, a unique opportunity to own a piece of history- one that has only changed hands three times in its 94-year reign.  Immediately beyond the private gate and original coffered front door is a grand foyer which is blessed with period tile floors. We can imagine those floors have seen a few champagne spillages throughout its stylish history – especially in the roaring ’20s.  The property is a maze of timeless sophistication, with enduring features that exhibit its heritage- from the wood-burning fireplace to the Juliet balcony that overlooks the front garden.  There is also a fully-equipped chef’s kitchen that is complete with a large pantry to store all that champagne, of course.  The upstairs is no less fashionable, as the master bedroom is complete with an en-suite and a spacious walk-in closet, so you don’t need to worry about space after a morning shopping on Rodeo Drive. The house also boasts a two-car garage, where we imagine the vehicles have at least changed since the 1920s.  See: Design house: Take a tour of this Novogratz-designed Hollywood hills home
